Dear Finn,

It’s your fifth birthday today and it seems like you’ve been looking forward to this ever since your fourth birthday. I certainly hope it has been worth the wait. I think it might have been as you seem, as always, pretty happy.

I am sure you know this but Mum and I just love you to bits. You’re a clever and funny kid even if you are a very chatty kid.

It’s seems like only yesterday you arrived in the middle of the night all blinking and befuddled. We’d had a great five years and you even inspired us to have another baby. Now we have two lovely kids and Leila loves you massively and wants to be just like you.

I hope you enjoy your new light sabre and your pile of other birthday presents.
