Recently Finn has become quite specific when he describes things.
“Dad, can we play that game that we played the time we stayed in the cabin at Queenscliff?”
And, of course, I knew exactly which game he meant. It’s actually a lovely change given how vague and general little kids can be a lot of the time.
Of course I didn’t know where that particular game was at home but it helped a lot that I knew which game I couldn’t find.
I just stumbled onto this photo and couldn’t believe just how little Finn used to be. I was also struck by this thought when I saw Leila standing next to him. She’s just so little and he seems like a giant (albeit a little one).
Still he’s a big lovely giant.
There is a giant word at Scienceworks. It says Sport and Finn does love to sit on it. Today was no exception.
I had meant to ask him to come with me to Officeworks but I said Scienceworks by mistake. Even though we only had a very short visit he still managed to jump up onto this word and get to spell out each letter as he clambered across it.
All of his own accord young Foozley put a tea-towel around his neck and went looking for a sword. It was every bit as cute as it looks in the photo.
