One of the books Finn has from the library this week is Mummy Never Told Me.
He actually chose this one himself and it’s a wonderful book that talks about wee, false teeth, sex, and same sex couples. It might not be an all-time classic but it’s certainly well worth a look and a few quality reads.
Finn was looking at his sandwich which he had eaten the middle out of.
“That’s a U” (which the shape certainly was)
“U belongs to umbrella.”
It’s good to see Sesame Street is working.
Today we went to the Zoo with James and Danny (and of course their mums).
Not sure how James got left out of the photos, he certainly didn’t get left out of the fun.
As you might guess from the hearty attack on this donut Finn is feeling a bit better. When he got up yesterday I asked him if he was going to childcare.
“No, I’ve got a sick tummy”.
He was probably right because he managed quite a long midday sleep but after that he buzzed about the place until all hours. Sadly there is no childcare today but we are off for a play-date with two other wacky toddlers at the Zoo this morning.
At the moment we have Families Have Together and Looking After Little Ellie which are both really popular with Finn.
He is also quite taken with the classic Fish Out of Water.
Not sure what caused this but his bedding is in the wash right now.
Depending on how the next couple of hours go this might well be a day at home.
What a pair of lovely kids.
Finn has had another big day and has finally gone to bed for some well needed rest.
My brand new sister might be getting all the press today but my Dad put some new photos from our recent trips to ScienceWorks for my loyal fans.
