Finn Henry

We are not sure where he learnt it but Finn has taken to saying “oh dear” at anything that goes wrong.

It’s terribly cute.

Finn has done his very first podcast. The file is about one meg big and goes for three minutes.

Our neighbours a few houses down have just finished their backyard (which looks schmick) and we went for a look. Young Foozley loves playing with their kids but especially surprised us by climbing the ladder of their slide and then sliding down.

We knew he loved slides but had no idea he could climb a ladder. Just last week he was utterly defeated by one at the park but we went back yesterday and it was like he’s always known how.

Finn is, of course, just two and tends to think of other living things as play things rather than people. So it was a lovely surprise to see him displaying quite a bit of empathy on the weekend.

He tipped out some blocks Rhonda had packed up and she pretended to be sad. So then Finn got all sad, not because she was cross at him, but because she was sad. It did have a happy ending (as pictured) because she gave him a cuddle to cheer him up.

It’s not the bird it’s Finn’s nose.

Some say playing Footsies is shallow and meaningless but I can’t think of two people who love each other more than Finn and his Mum.

or perhaps a chef (he does love both toy and real kitchens).
