Today Finn joined his Mum and Dad for a visit with cousin Dan and his Mum and Dad. Also his aunty Rad and his Grandy was there.
A fine time was had by all creatures great and small including cousin Dan who looks very handsome both in person and in this photo.
If Finn has something and you tell him to take it to Dad he knows who you mean. And likewise if you say Mum he knows and even calls Nicky Mum.
But the funny thing he does, and this is only when Nicky is around, is point to his Dad and say Mum. And he does it with this massive smile on his face.
Clearly this is a hell of a joke.
Onn account of Finn’s Dad doing more school experience it would be good if responsible adults could look after him on the following days.

This isn’t what it looks like but is just too funny not to share.
Finn stood in the driveway and pointed up at the moon (which just sitting there a good hour before sunset).
“Star”, he said.
Just like that.
The first tv show that Finn ever showed any interest in was Boohbah and he is still quite fond of it. So much so that the other week he just took to saying Boohbah and pointing at the telly.
It is often the first word out of his mouth when Nicky gets him out of bed in the morning. In fact it is difficult to go ten minutes without him telling you all about Boohbah.
Boohbah.
Since a young man has been able to sit up he likes to be upright all the time except when sleeping. And often when he is mean to be sleeping.
However in the last week he has discovered the simple pleasure of lying around. He will lie on the couch in front of the telly or just on the floor in the middle of his toys.
It looks very comfortable and I can’t say I blame him.
Yesterday Finn has a very busy morning out exploring at the coastal park. While the coast itself is pretty uninviting the park is idea for a curious toddler. He charged around the place and literally ran towards the play equipment when he found it.
On the way home we stopped in at the indoor play centre since it was a bit chilly outdoors. This was probably a bit of a mistake because Finn was all tired and grumpy and would burst into tears whenever anything went wrong.
Then he decided to climb on the little wall which is perhaps 30cm high and nice and soft. This all went well until he slipped, fell, and came out of it will a bloody nose.
Despite my assurances that we was very tough looking he did need a bit of a cuddle and looked quite clobbered for most of the day.
I am sure the next one will be pretty dramatic too.
but he is certainly up to the job.
Finn went out into the backyard and had a lovely explore. The puppies where a bit excited to have their favourite tasty kid in their space but it all went really well.
