Foozley has, all of a sudden, become all interested in climbing. I am tempted to stop him but I figure he has to learn about getting down the easy way and the hard way.
Anyhow he was just so pleased with himself when he managed to climb up onto his table and just lay there smiling at me for ages.
Yesterday Foozley was being a horror and we suspect this is the general frustration that will drive him to walk.
Today he is not walking but he is a lovely kid from start to finish. On top of that he called Nicky mum quite clearly a couple of times today. He has been throwing the words mum and dad around but this time there was no mistake he meant it to specifically mean Nicky.
And, as if this was not enough for one day, he gave us both a big wet smoochy kiss each this morning. We have had his face pressed against us and things that we probable bites but this was unmistakably a big kiss.

It has been One Of Those Days.
Not so long ago I was not at all certain that Foozley would wear this hearing aids consistently until he was perhaps twenty and I was, well, a good deal more than twenty.
But now he wears them all the time. He might just pull them out perhaps twice a day but they either go straight back in or back in after five minutes.
I am looking forward to his next test so we can perhaps get them adjusted and having him with Super-Foozley-Hearing.
I realise this morning that Finn mainly get called Finn by when we are being stern of serious. The rest of the time he goes by a range of names which currently include the following.

Nicky had to leave without seeing Foozley this morning. So this is for her, taken perhaps five minutes ago.
All uninvited Foozley insisted that we be allowed to have a Tim Tam which I then expected him to just play with. Instead he ate most of it and got covered in it.

Foozley just destroyed his remaining hearing aid mould so he is now down to none at all. Which just means he will just have to say “what” alot until the new ones arrive in the next week.
I think I might work out how I can get them to provide me with backup moulds.
Post Script: His new moulds arrived in the mail today so we are back to four ears like we should be.
They rang from childcare to tell me that Finn has woken up from his sleep with gummy eyes. Now they can’t tell you that it is conjunctivitis but both they know and I know that it is.
No doubt half the room with have it within a day but I thought I should do the right thing and collect young Foozley straight away. Luckily we were able to see the doctor this afternoon so we went from there straight from childcare and have already started with drops.
Foozley does not like having eye drops, not one little bit but that’s just too bad. Soon he will be all clear eyed and we’ll all be happy.
